What if…the predictable layout of stationery items could be presented in a manner where users would only place essential items to reduce visual cluttering?

流 is a stationery set inspired by free-flowing curves seen on organic forms, and volumes.

流 holds an assortment of stationery items from pens, watches, vitamins and other peripherals with a flatter profile while showcasing them in various angles.

Organic forms were studied and deconstructed to understand the characteristics of curves and shapes organic forms have in common by using keywords such as Edge-to-Edge and Sleek to evoke the type of visual flow 流 should have.

Volumes

流 was designed to comprise the three volumes, dominant, sub-dominant and subordinate, to create a whole.

Dominant is the most significant element, the most exciting and dramatic. It occupies the dominant position in the group.

Subdominant complements the dominant while keeping the proportions in check.

Subordinate is the smallest visual element that balances the ratio of volumes as it decreases in size.
